What will be broadcast?

• BGM
• Time Signal
• Chime accompanied by mic broadcast
• Spot Announcement

The content determines the playback pattern, such as the length and repetition of the sound source. This will determine the functionality required for playback equipment.

Equipment

What equipment is suitable for playing the content?

• CD
• Auto Announcer
• Built in  
  There are cases where the sound source is built in the main unit (composed of Matrix and AMP).

​When choosing equipment, who will be using it is also important. Auto announcers for PA systems come with a variety of preset playback patterns, but specialized knowledge is required to use them. Although there are few things that can be done with CD in terms of control, it is very common. In summary, designers will need to consider the following:

• Who will play?
• Where to play?

Equipment with a UI appropriate to the operator's knowledge must be installed in the operator's room. Operators may be in the control room all the time and rarely go to the machine room.

The following considerations also need to be made regarding the sound source.

• How is the sound source prepared?
• How are sound sources placed in the equipment?
• Who will replace the sound source?

If this is done frequently by users who are not familiar with the equipment, the simple method is best.
