This page describes some criteria for determining the location of speakers for an auditorium.
Room Structure
First, understand the structure of the room.
In some cases, only 2D drawings may be available. Can you imagine a 3D structure from here?
It's easier to understand if it's colored or has an elevation view.
For example, designers can consider where the SP can be installed and, if installed, are there areas where the sound will not reach directly?
Sound Direction
Find the "speech point" and audience area with the person giving the speech and the microphone. "Sound Direction" is the direction from the "speech point" to the "audience area".
There may be two speech points. In this case, there are also two sound directions. Also, the speech point may be in the middle of the venue.
SP should be installed as much as possible along Sound Direction.
Even in the same space there are various SP installation methods. Consider the sound direction and let's think about installation method.
