IP-A1 PLAYBACK CONTROL via iPhone

Did you know you can easily play the of the IP-A1 series using just the standard apps on your iPhone?

​By utilizing the "Shortcuts" app, which comes pre-installed on iPhones, you can freely play, stop, and control the of the IP-A1 series directly from your iPhone.
*This functionality is available not only when your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the IP audio device but also when the Wi-Fi router allows external access via a domain, such as through Dynamic DNS.

How to Set Up

---

1. Open the Shortcuts app
Open the Shortcuts app pre-installed on the iPhone.

​2. Tap ’＋’ button
Press the '+' button in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.

​3. Select ’Safari’
Select 'Safari' from the list that appears.

​4. Select 'Get Contents of Web Page'
"Select 'Get Contents of Web Page' from the menu that appears.

​5. Enter the HTTP command in the 'URL'
Enter the desired HTTP command in the 'URL' area on the displayed screen.

Note:
Include authentication credentials (ID and password) in the HTTP command.

6. A shortcut will be created
Press 'Done' to return to the main screen, where the shortcut will be created.

7. Rename and add to the home screen
By pressing and holding, you can Rename and Share (add the icon to the home screen).

​8. Setup complete​
By tapping the icon added to the home screen, you can control playback and pause.

Integration with Automation

​When combined with automation, you can think of various use cases:
​

• Trigger the built-in audio broadcast when a specific email is received.
• Trigger the built-in audio broadcast when the iPhone is brought close to an NFC chip.
• Change the background music when entering a specific Wi-Fi environment.
